Are your edges damaged? You should read this.

Now how many of us can admit that we have had a problem with our edges?? A LOT OF US CAN RELATE.This is a common problem that alot of women including myself has had.First off, if this is a really serious problem for you , i suggest you consult with a dermatologist first. They may be able to let you know if hair can even grow back in those areas. That being said,  Our edges ( hairline ) is the most sensitive area as far as breakage goes. It requires alot of moisture but little manipulation and cannot handle too much pulling tugging and tension. With the various hair styles (protective styles) such as box braids, weaves, twist updo, lace fronts etc.

It is very easy for your edges to be damaged. It is probably the most dreadful damage to have because its very obvious and very hard to style your hair when you have this problem. The photo shows a more severe case of thinning edges but the severity definitely does vary with each individual. There is one thing i feel has worked for me in the past && i always recommend it to others. It is Castor Oil. Castor oil is very dense and depending on how it is made may have a specific scent. Castor oil thickens the hair and definitely promotes hair growth. I am a witness to this to anyone suffering from thinning hair, Castor oil will do the trick. There are definitely other solutions to this problem. I have attached a link that gives more detail on solutions to thinning edges. Enjoy.
